General Donation & Eligibility

Who is eligible to make a donation?
We welcome contributions from everyone - individuals, firms, and companies. Both Indian residents and registered entities are welcome to support our cause.
Can I make a donation in kind (materials)?
Yes! We gratefully accept donations in kind (such as clothes, food, or materials). However, tax exemptions are typically only applicable to monetary contributions.
What payment modes do you accept?
We accept donations via Net Banking, Demand Draft, Cheque, and UPI.
Is there a minimum or maximum limit?
There is no minimum limit. However, for tax deduction purposes, cash donations are limited to Rs. 2,000. Larger amounts should be donated via Cheque or Net Banking.

Tax Exemption & Receipts (80G)

Are donations to the Trust tax-deductible?
The Trust is a registered entity established with specific provisions to apply for tax exemption under Section 80G. Please contact us directly for the current status of our 80G certificate.
How do I claim a tax deduction?
To claim a deduction (once applicable), include the donation details (amount, our PAN, and registration number) when filing your Income Tax Return. We provide valid receipts for all contributions.
Why is my PAN card required?
The Income Tax Department requires us to record the donor's PAN to ensure your donation is correctly reflected in your tax records (Form 26AS/AIS).

Trust Legitimacy & Scope

Is the Asha Bhupender Charitable Trust legitimate?
Yes. We are a registered Charitable Trust (Reg. Date: Dec 11, 2025) headquartered in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh. Our operations are governed by a Board of Trustees and audited annually.
Is the Trust irrevocable?
Yes. The Trust is irrevocable. The founder has permanently transferred funds to the Trust, and no assets can ever be reclaimed by the founder or trustees.
What happens to the funds if the Trust dissolves?
In the unlikely event of dissolution, no assets will be distributed to the trustees. All remaining funds must be transferred to another charitable trust with similar objectives.
How is my donation utilized?
Your funds support our core missions: mental health rehabilitation, animal welfare, and supporting underprivileged communities.
Does the Trust have administrative costs?
Our Trustees work voluntarily and do not take any profit. Funds are used strictly for charitable work, with only essential operational expenses covered.

Donation Support

My transaction failed but money was debited. What should I do?
Don't worry. Please email us your transaction ID and date. We will verify it with our bank and issue a receipt or process a refund if needed.
